EVENTS, TOURS AND TRIPS
In 2025, we’re curating a programme of events and tours that aim to engage paddlers of all levels. Our schedule will include guided excursions through scenic waterways, skill development workshops, river clean ups and water safety initiatives. Participants can look forward to exploring local ecosystems, enhancing their paddling techniques, and connecting with other kayaking enthusiasts. Events will be added to the calendar throughout the year, so please check back for updates.

Join Stour Kayak and The Paddle Company for an egg-citing adventure on the water this Easter school holiday! Book your kayak, canoe, rowing boat or paddle board as normal, and our team will provide children with a clipboard and checklist to track the Easter eggs they find along the river. Keep your eyes peeled—if you manage to work out the Easter-themed word printed on each egg, you’ll win a special prize!
APRIL
Stour Kayak and Paddlesports Coaching have teamed up to offer ‘Introduction to Kayaking’ sessions from our base at the Henny Swan on the idyllic river Stour. A small-group session, where we’ll cover the basics of kayaking on our stable and comfortable sit-on-top kayaks.
Join Sour Kayak and The Paddle Company for a free river cleanup on May 2, 2025, as we come together to help keep the beautiful River Stour clean and thriving! This two-hour event is a great way to enjoy the water, meet like-minded people, and make a real difference to the local environment.

Join Stour Kayak and The Paddle Company for an exciting 3hr supervised paddling adventure on the River Cam in Cambridge! Whether you're a seasoned kayaker or a beginner eager to explore, this event offers a fantastic opportunity to paddle along one of England’s most iconic waterways.
Taking place in Cambridge. Price TBC. All abilities welcome. Kayaks, canoes and paddles boards available.
Embark on an unforgettable Stour Adventure, paddling from Great Henny to the sea along the beautiful River Stour! This journey will take you through stunning countryside, charming villages, and peaceful waterways before reaching the open coastline.
Tandem kayaks, single kayaks, Canadian canoes and paddle boards available.
Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th June. Price TBC.
This is an all-inclusive trip, with water craft, equipment, camping, transit to start point, and catering/refreshments included.
