“Glow Paddles” (Supervised LED Night Paddles)

A unique and unforgettable experience kayaking on the idyllic River Stour in the pitch black. Illuminate the water with colour-changing submergible LED lights, fixed to the bottom of each kayak.

• The next organised session is scheduled for Tuesday 13th June, starting at 8.30pm.

• 60-90 minutes paddling on the River Stour on our stable and stylish single kayaks. All kayaks will be equipped with colour-changing LED lights that illuminate the water as meander through the Essex and Suffolk countryside.

• You will be supervised on the water by a friendly, experienced and fully-trained Stour Kayak team member. You will be in safe hands!

• Choice of launch location for private groups paddles, either at The Henny Swan or The Boathouse, Sudbury. Launch location for the organised group-based sessions will be confirmed closer to the date.

• Times are dependent on time of year. Typically, we launch approximately 20mins prior to sunset.

• Full safety and paddling technique briefing given before we set off. Paddlers must be able to swim a minimum of 25m unaided.

• Includes everything you need, including LED-fitted kayak(s), paddle(s) and buoyancy aid(s). A limited number of waterproof phone cases and dry bags are available.

• We require a minimum of 4 people for the organised group session to go ahead.

• Private group-based sessions have no minimum.

Prices

Private Session: £45.00 for the first person, and £40.00 for each additional person.

Organised Group Session: £35 per person.

There is a minimum age limit of 10 years for this event. All those under 18 years must be accompanied by a responsible adult (parent or guardian), at a 2:1 child to adult ratio.
