A seven-mile drive away from Colchester, Essex, just across the border in the village of Nayland, Suffolk. We operate from the riverside garden at The Anchor Inn, a very popular and well-regarded pub and restaurant, with an extensive drinks menu, superb food, a riverside garden with views down the river.
What’s on offer?
Experience the joy of kayaking, canoeing and paddle boarding with our diverse range of watercraft. Choose from our selection of single kayaks, Canadian canoes for 2 people (plus, 2-children), or paddle boards. Each kayak is carefully chosen for its exceptional manoeuvrability, stability, and stylish design. Whether you're looking for a solo adventure or a shared experience, we have the perfect boat for you. Our rentals are available for 1, 2, 4 and 6-hour durations. Longer and multi-day hires are sometimes possible and available bookable through email.
In addition to our kayak rentals, we provide special sessions for beginners called 'Introduction to Kayaking' and individual or small-group tuition. For tours and events please visit the Events and Tours section.
