Stour Kayak and Paddlesports Coaching have teamed up to offer ‘Introduction to Kayaking’ sessions from our base at the Henny Swan on the idyllic river Stour. A small-group session, where we’ll cover the basics of kayaking on our stable and comfortable sit-on-top kayaks.

Small group session, comprising approximately 4-8 people.
Aimed at those with little to no experience of kayaking.
The session will be led by Jon Halden, a British Canoeing delivery partner and kayaking coach.
The session will last 1.5hrs and cover paddling technique, water confidence, water safety and basic rescue techniques.
Includes everything you need, including kayak(s), paddle(s) and buoyancy aid(s). A limited number of waterproof phone cases and dry bags are available.
Charged at £45 per person.
There is a minimum age limit of 13 years. All those under 18 years must be accompanied by a responsible adult, at a 2:1 child to adult ratio. We require a minimum of 4 people for this session to go ahead, so reserve the right to cancel or postpone if we fail to meet this minimum.
